Kunstgewerbe Uhlig - Erzgebirge german gifts

Kunstgewerbe Uhlig is one of those typical family owned workshops in the German Erzgebirge. The workshop looks back on four generations of traditional craftwork and today is run by Frieder and Andre Uhlig. The company was founded in 1895 by Emil Uhlig. After WWII Kurt Uhlig took over the company that had been run by Martin Uhlig who did not come back from WWII.
Kunstgewerbe Uhlig is a small company with exclusive collectables that are only produced in small numbers. All items are hand painted.

Uhlig makes Christmas pyramids, music boxes, wooden angels, schwibbogen and smoking figurines. The most popular are the Uhlig angels that belong to most popular Erzgebirge angels. You can find those lovely creatures on many Uhlig music boxes, pyramids and schwibbogen.
If you are looking for something special then a product made by Kunstgewerbe Uhlig is a very good choice.
